J&L Development is a full-service construction management firm specializing in the creative, functional design and construction of religious facilities, commercial buildings, estate homes and nonprofit projects.
Founded in Nevada in 1989, Jesse and LeaAnn Ferrer moved the company to the Boise area in 2005. Over the past years, J&L Development has become widely known as the general contractor of choice for large projects that require persistent attention to detail.
The long-running success of J&L Development is based on relationships—relationships with clients, subcontractors and within the company itself. We believe what makes a project successful is not simply a focus on the destination, but an appreciation of the journey, too.
Jesse and LeaAnn Ferrer, the principles of J&L Development have been in and around the construction industry for more than 30 years. They have been married for more than 28 years and were both raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to the Boise area in 2005 to raise their family and enjoy the quality of life the Treasure Valley offers. They now live in the Star area, where they have raised two boys. One is attending the University of Idaho, the younger is a high school student attending The Ambrose School in Meridian. The Ferrers are proud members of Eagle Christian Church.
